My PD Shield IMG_0833

I finally got it painted.....but really it is not what I want. So I am willing to let this go for Third Coast Beatdown as a Tourny Prize! Very Happy

Let me know what you think.

How did I miss this post until now? Man, that is awesome!!! What kind of paints did you use? And you're willing to give it up as a tourney prize? We'll definitely take it, if you are sure you wanna do that. I'm sure the masses will lust after it hungrily.

Yeah Man, by the time 3rd Coast Beatdown gets here I will have my new shield made and I will be rockin' the Greek look.

Just basic acrylic you buy at Walmart, though I still need to order some Through the Roof to seal it.

And to answer your first question, ya need to check the boards man! LOL Laughing

See, that is how wood grain should look, not that giant cartoony looking grain that Ishmael does.

Thanks Casimir, I think what makes the difference between my shield and Ishmael's is the feel of the real deal and fantasy.

But I have to say, that I really liked his approach and learned alot from just viewing it. Very Happy
