New Tunic in the Making
Making a summer tunic along with practice on garb. I'm thinking of dying it blue and adding gold celtic trim but blue doesn't match my overall outfit.

YAY GARB!!!! More garb is a good thing. If I could sew I'd have made some loaner tabards by now, but I am needle and thread challenged.
Oh, and that's a nifty tunic Diablo-Obeli-Jacki-Pirateyguy-esness. But, I have a question. If you wanted it blue, why not just start with blue fabric?

When I go to the store for fabric I try to get a material that:
A) Doesn't have a repeating pattern as if it were machine-made
B) Has an interesting texture
C) Can be used for multiple things (since I don't really have an Idea of what I'm making when I get it.)
I try to get something that looks like it would be made in a medieval/olden days fashion. Unfortunately it's hard to find the right stuff.
And stop mocking my creativity with names.
