Hammer on a stick
I'll be making some simple weapons of my own before even considering putting this together, but are there any rules against scythe/halberd/hammer-on-a-stick type weapons? I'd take it so far as to form the core to have a perpendicular pipe at the end of the main pipe, probably extending past each side. Throw a stabby tip in and it'd make for a dumb looking but interesting weapon. I'm thinking of something around 5 foot long but the concept works for single handed weapons as well.
Any thoughts?

Re: Hammer on a stick
Anything that you put a core in perpendicular to the main handle will create a weak spot that WILL break under decent use. A scythe will have to be a blue/red weapon as you can not have a swung stabby...it's just not in our rules. The stabby will need to be at the end of the handle that you use to hold the weapon and not at the end of the hammer/scythe.

Izec and I have both made historical designed warhammers that would be like the hammers on a stick you are describing. No need to ass anything to the core, just build up foam off of the core and you can get it to work. We will talk designs next Friday.
