Battlefield Improvements?

I know it'd be a wee dangerous, but couldn't we figure out some place to get better landscaping? Like, obstacles and stuff, kinda like up in Kerrville's place with the gorge? (Even though it was full of rocks, I know.)

Cuz we're just fighting on even ground with a tree or two. Couldn't we somehow figure out something a little more...hectic? Maybe drag in some logs or something??

I understand your desire for some variety, but safety is our main priority. Fighting on clear, generally level ground results in fewer injuries. I'm not saying that special scenario games couldn't be set up some where different with some more obstacles, but for most fighting our park is great. Keep in mind that we are playing at a public park for free, so we can't really bring in logs and such as it may be considered vandalism and we could get kicked out.

I suggest that the next time we are fighting out in Manor that you take a walk around the park during one of our breaks. Maybe you'll find something that will work for a special scenario game. If the landscape is safe enough, maybe we can come up with a game to play and try it out.

I know, Safety's number one. I can appreciate that, I like my face how it is.

Mm. I was loooking on the Dagorhir page and got ideas.
Couldn't we-
A: Get some walls? I saw Castles made from Plywood. We could have sharp planks nailed to the side, and just have someone with a truck or a van bring it each practice. (sharp planks so it sticks in the ground)
B: Hay! Not hey, hay. It'd cushion falls, or just for sh*ts and grins. And look pretty. (But get really messy)
3: Strap Artilley Shells to ourselves and see what happens? (That one's a joke. Kind fo, I am curious what would happen.)

Castles only ever really happen at big events, and even then they are used very little. We have trees, benches and pillars...that is fine if you ask me.

But we have to avoid them for safety reasons. D:
